The 48-Month Recovery Plan

Standard 2-year covenants guarantee failure. Our physics-based approach ensures the building survives and thrives for generations.

Months 0-12pending

Stabilization

Immediate intervention to make the building wind and watertight. Clearing gutters, repairing drains, and sealing the roof to stop water ingress. This is the critical first step to prevent further deterioration.

Emergency roof repairs
Gutter and drain clearance
Window boarding and protection
Structural assessment report
Insurance and liability setup
Months 12-30future

The Drying Phase

A critical period of minimal intervention. Thick masonry walls require 1 month of drying per 25mm thickness. We monitor humidity and conserve glazing off-site while the structure acclimatizes.

Humidity monitoring installation
Glazing removal and conservation
Ventilation improvements
Masonry condition surveys
Conservation material testing
Months 30-48future

Restoration

Internal plaster repairs, joinery conservation, and services installation. Only executed once the core fabric is dry to prevent premature failure. Final phase brings the building to sustainable use.

Lime plaster repairs
Historic joinery restoration
Electrical installation
Floor conservation
Final decoration and fitout
